Profile Builder
The Profile Builder is where you set up your business identity. Information entered here appears on every invoice and estimate you send.
What to set up in the Profile Builder
Business name - shown in the sender section of invoices and estimates.
Logo - upload your company logo. It appears at the top of every invoice.
Business address - your physical or mailing address.
Phone and email - contact details shown to clients on documents.
Website - optional, included in your business details on invoices.

Click "Profile Builder" in the left sidebar.

Fill in your business name and contact details.

Click "Upload logo" and select your logo file (PNG or JPG works best).

Save your profile. Changes appear immediately on new invoices.
Add a logo even if your business is just you. Invoices with a logo look significantly more professional and are associated with faster payment in practice.
Invoice branding (Pro)
On the Pro plan, you can customize the visual presentation of your invoices beyond just the logo:
Custom accent colors to match your brand.
Custom invoice templates.
Removal of WaffleInvoice branding from invoice pages.
Account settings
The Settings page covers your account-level configuration:
Email and password - update your login credentials.
Invoice numbering - set a starting invoice number or a custom prefix (e.g., "INV-" or a year prefix like "2026-").
Currency - set your default currency for new invoices.
Time zone - ensures invoice dates and automation timing are correct for your location.
Notification preferences - control which email notifications you receive.
Payment settings
The Payments section in Settings is where you connect Stripe to accept online payments. See the Payments article for a full walkthrough of the Stripe connection process.
Subscription and billing
To upgrade to Pro, go to Settings and click "Upgrade to Pro". You can also upgrade from the sidebar if you're on the free plan.
Monthly billing - $19/month, cancel any time.
Annual billing - pay once per year at a discounted rate. Check the Pricing page for the current annual rate.
When you cancel, your account stays on Pro until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the free plan. No data is lost.
