What the On My Way button does

The On My Way button lets you notify a client that you are heading to their location. You can include an optional ETA. The notification is sent by SMS if the client has a phone number and SMS opt-in, or by the contact method available.

Where to find it

The On My Way button appears on the detail page for any invoice that has been sent or viewed. It is a large amber button designed to be easy to tap from a mobile device, since most field service providers send this notification from a truck or van.

Sending an On My Way notification

    Open a sent or viewed invoice.

    Tap the "On My Way" button.

  3. 3

    A modal appears with optional ETA choices: 10 min, 15 min, 20 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 1 hour.

    Select an ETA or skip it to send without one.

  5. 5

    Tap Send. The notification goes out immediately.

After sending

Once sent, the button changes to show "Notified X min ago" with a checkmark so you have a record of when the client was contacted. Tap it again if you need to send a second notification.

On My Way works best for field service businesses: HVAC, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, cleaning services, and anyone who visits client locations. Clients appreciate the heads-up and it reduces "are you still coming?" calls.
