Team Members and Roles

What team accounts enable

WaffleInvoice supports multi-user accounts so you can work with partners, assistants, bookkeepers, or other team members. Each team member gets their own login and sees the same clients, invoices, and estimates - all under one account.

Inviting a team member

   Go to Settings in the left sidebar.

   Click the "Team" tab.

   Click "Invite team member".

   Enter their email address and select their role.

   Click "Send invite".

   They'll receive an email with a link to accept the invitation and set up their login.

Roles explained

Each team member is assigned a role that controls their level of access:

• Owner - full access to everything including billing, settings, and team management. There is one owner per account.

• Admin - can create and manage invoices, estimates, clients, and automations. Cannot access billing or remove the owner.

• Member - can view, create, and edit invoices, estimates, and clients. Cannot access Settings, team management, or billing.

Managing team members

   Go to Settings > Team.

   You'll see a list of all active team members and pending invitations.

   To change a member's role, click the role dropdown next to their name and select a new role.

   To remove a team member, click the options menu next to their name and select "Remove".

   Removed members immediately lose access to the account.

Pending invitations

If a team member hasn't accepted their invitation yet, it will appear as "Pending" in the team list. You can resend the invitation email or cancel it from the Team settings page.
